Orc History
This realm started ages ago with countless small and widely scattered groups of people. The main natives of this land were Elves, Trolls, Goblins, Lizardmen Bugbears, and of course, Orcs. Though all of these races eventually banded together into tribes, the orcs did it first and they used their greater numbers to dominate the other races. That's how it started and that's how it's been to this day. Besides the Orcs and the elves, most of the other native races have not developed (or have not been allowed to develop) beyond tribal limits. Orcs organized and evolved into a huge, complex civilization while keeping the other races in check; thereby insuring their dominance and survival.
Roughly eight thousand years ago, all orc tribes united as a single feudal kingdom under the great warrior, Larthan, and thus begun Orc History. Under his leadership, the orcs conquered the other races, driving them into the woods, swamps, and mountains. Larthan named the realm "Qwa Vaam" (Genesis) to honor the birth of the new orc nation he had brought to life. With the land conquered, the orcs settled and started to develop their world. Peace took over and warriors became farmers.
In the year 54 O.R., after decades of peace, Titanic men came out of the sky to invade Qwa Vaam. The land was once again thrust into war and an aged Larthan picked up his sword to do battle with this new enemy. Fighting the Titan invaders was costly and brutal but ended after eleven years of bloody conflict in the year 65 O.R.. The Orcs defeated the Titans at the battle of "Chal Veng" (the Sky City). Again the Orcs had killed the enemy and protected their realm but at great cost - their king, hero, and idol Larthan was killed in the final battle. His last action was to cut down the Titan King and pull their sky city to the ground. Larthan died in the crash. The sea and swamp filled the crater left by the impact of the Sky City. The site soon came to be known as "Titan's Fall" and is revered by orcs as the final resting-place of Larthan. Almost instinctively, orcs everywhere began to worship the hero's spirit and he has been revered as their god ever since.
